El grupo Gens emprende un viaje musical en busca del tiempo que sus jóvenes integrantes se perdieron. Pero nadie se baña dos veces en el mismo río: esta inmersión en torrentes nutricios de géneros como el Rythm and Blues y el pop, mezcla tiempos y expresiones diversas, con saldo a favor de una lírica y meditativa visión que transporta al oyente a un espacio ingrávido, con pulsos intensos pero sin premura, mirando cómo pasa el tiempo y gira el planeta posando la vista sin insistir demasiado en momentos y regiones específicos.

Un tributo especial rinden al poeta y canta-autor Silvio Rodríguez: "Santiago de Chile", junto a "Y nada más", abren el clímax en la dramaturgia del disco, sumando el oficio y la sensibilidad -la maestría- evidente en esta relectura de Silvio que localiza, enfatiza y saca al nivel más evidente las raíces latentes en la estructura profunda musical de ambas canciones. En el cierre se recrean, con "Techo de vidrio", en la más fantasiosa distorsión del espacio-tiempo de un rock emplazado en otras latitudes, con ese compás irregular que rompe el paso a cada tramo y es un modo más de conducirnos por la música, entre la mirada retro y la futurista.

The group Gens starts a trip searching for the time its young integrants got lost. But nobody bathes twice in the same river: this immersion in the nutritional torrent of genres like Rhythm and Blues and pop, mixes times and diverse expressions favorably resulting in a lyric and meditative vision that transports the listener to a vacumm space with intense pulsations without hurrying, looking how time goes by and the planet twirls without trying to insist too much in specific moments and regions.

They render a special tribute to the poet and author-singer Silvio Rodríguez: Saniago de Chile, together Y nada más (And nothing else) open the climax in the recording’s dramatics, summing up the skill and sensibility – the mastery, evident in this re-view of Silvio, which enfasizes and draws up to the most evident level the latent roots within the musical deep structure of both songs. At the end they recreate with Techo de vidrio (Glass roof) the most fantastic dirtorsion of time-space of a rock set on other latitudes with that irregular beat which brakes the step every stretch, and it is, then, anoher way of conducting us along the music, between a retro and a futuristic sights
